Ingredients: Sri Lankan Orange Pekoe, Cardamom, Ginger, Bay Leaves, Cinnamon, Star Anise, Fennel, Daintree Cacao, Chilli Flakes, Black Pepper

Add one heaped spoon to 95–100°C water and steep for 4–5 minutes.

Choc Chilli Chai

A little sweet. A little spicy. A whole lot of chai.

This is chai with attitude.

Our Choc Chilli Chai starts with luxurious Sri Lankan Orange Pekoe, layered with aromatic cardamom, ginger, cinnamon, bay leaf, star anise and fennel. Then comes the rich depth of Daintree cacao, finished with chilli flakes and black pepper for a warming hit of heat.

Complex, aromatic and seriously moreish, this is chai with a little more going on. The cacao brings a subtle chocolate note, while the chilli and black pepper slowly turn up the heat.

And we've thought about the details, too. Every ingredient is cut or ground into smaller pieces and evenly blended throughout the tea, so your heaped spoon gets a little bit of everything — tea, spice, cacao and chilli — in every cup.
